TAZ Scholarship Applications
As a founding principal of our organization, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., values scholarship. In keeping with the tradition of supporting education, Tau Alpha Zeta Chapter is providing scholarship opportunities for high school and undergraduate students throughout the Chicagoland area.

Betty McMurray Scholarship
Award: (6) Scholarships — $2,000
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicant must be a graduating high school senior accepted to a four-year college/university
- Minimum cumulative GPA 2.75 (4.0 scale), 3.75 (5.0 scale)
Who may apply:
- High school seniors
Cynthia Porter Scholarship
Award: (5) Scholarships — $2,000
Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicant must be an undergraduate attending a four year college/university
- Minimum cumulative GPA 2.75 (4.0 scale), 3.75 (5.0 scale)
Who may apply:
- Undergraduate students attending a four year college/university
Andrea Latham Boston Scholarship
Award: (2) Scholarships — $1,000
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must attend or will be attending an Illinois accredited four year college/university
- Minimum cumulative GPA 2.75 (4.0 scale), 3.75 (5.0 scale)
- Field of study is open however, preferred business or education major.
Who may apply:
- Graduating High School Senior
- Undergraduate student
